Privacy Policy of Moveler

1. Introduction

At Moveler, we respect your privacy and are committed to processing your personal data lawfully, fairly, transparently, and securely.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, the legal basis for doing so, how long we keep it, with whom we may share it, and what rights you have.

2. What Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of personal data:

a) Account Data

Name, username, email address, password protected through cryptographic security measures, profile picture, and any other information you provide when registering or completing your profile.

b) Usage Data and Preferences

Your content preferences, movies, TV series, destinations, language settings, interaction history within the platform, saved items, activity within the service, and signals necessary to personalize your experience.

c) Data Generated by Your Activity

Posts, comments, votes, reviews, community contributions, uploaded content, prompts or inputs related to AI features, and any other content you choose to share.

IP address, session identifiers, browser type, device information, operating system, access date and time, technical logs, errors, usage metrics, and similar data necessary for security, performance, and diagnostics.

e) Payment and Billing Data

Moveler may access limited information associated with your payments or subscriptions, such as payment status, transaction identifiers, selected plan, renewal status, country, currency, or minimum billing information necessary to manage the subscription. Full card details or payment instrument data are processed by Stripe or the applicable payment provider.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • enable login and maintain access security;
  • display, remember, and apply your preferences within the platform;
  • provide personalized content related to movies, TV series, filming locations, and travel;
  • generate or improve itineraries and suggestions using AI tools;
  • allow you to participate in the community;
  • process and manage subscriptions, plans, and payment status;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and misuse;
  • respond to inquiries, issues, or support requests;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • improve the performance, experience, and security of the service.

Moveler does not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is not used for purposes incompatible with those described in this Policy.

  • performance of a contract, where processing is necessary to provide the service to you;

5. Preferences, Personalization, and Limited Use of Data

Moveler uses user data primarily to operate accounts, provide the service, and display or remember user preferences within the platform, such as interests, settings, relevant history, and content personalization.

We will not use your personal data for unrelated or incompatible purposes without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, without informing you beforehand.

6. Passwords and Security

User passwords are not stored in plain text. They are protected using appropriate security measures and cryptographic methods, including encryption and/or hashing, as applicable to the system architecture.

In addition, we apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no system is completely infallible, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Payments Processed by Stripe

Payments for subscriptions or paid services within Moveler are handled by Stripe or by the payment provider indicated from time to time. This means that payment processing, certain anti-fraud checks, and the handling of sensitive financial data are carried out by that provider under its own terms and policies.

Moveler manages the commercial configuration of subscriptions, such as pricing, plans, and the activation or updating of features, but does not fully control the processing of financial information handled by Stripe as an independent provider in the payment flow.

8. Community and Public Content

If you post content in Moveler's community areas, that content may be visible to other users and, depending on the configuration of the service, may also be publicly accessible.

You should avoid posting sensitive information or any information you do not wish to share. You are responsible for the content you choose to publish in the community.

Moveler may moderate content in order to maintain an appropriate, safe, and respectful environment, but does not guarantee prior review of all publications.

9. Who We Share Data With

We may share personal data only where necessary with:

  • technology and infrastructure providers;
  • authentication, analytics, hosting, support, or security providers;
  • Stripe or other payment providers;
  • public authorities, courts, regulators, or law enforcement where legally required;
  • potential buyers or advisors in the context of a corporate transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Where appropriate, we require third parties to process data in accordance with suitable instructions and reasonable security measures.
